Mission is part of the identity of the church. In John 20:21, Jesus said, "As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” God sent his Son into the world to accomplish his mission, and now, through the power the Spirit, the church is sent as ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor. 5:20).

Here are some of the formal ways UCC is involved in missions work.

Long-term Missions

One of the ways we pursue and live out our mission as a church is through preparing and sending out missionaries to be effective messengers of the gospel in a variety of contexts. We do this in partnership with various missions organizations. Currently, UCC supports a number of missionaries working in different countries. Short-term Missions

Every year we send out teams on different short-term mission trips abroad.

Church Planting

Our church believes church planting is an important aspect of our mission as a church and seeks to partner with other churches and organizations to start new churches and strengthen existing ones.

Agricola Theological Institute

UCC is affliated with ATI, a theological training institute that aims to prepare men and women for the ministry of God's Word.
